LTH Safecontractor Accreditation

LTH Electronics has a full commitment to the principles of Quality Assurance, and recognises the necessity for the involvement and co-operation of all personnel in achieving quality in its products and services, preventing non-conformances and in striving for continual improvement of products, services and the management systems.

The quality objective is to achieve customer satisfaction by constant review and ongoing measurement and analysis of all our goods and services and by constantly updating our training skills for all employees by both internal and external training where required.

All employees within the company are responsible for ensuring that quality objectives are achieved and the relevant procedures have been implemented and are in use. In addition to strict adherence to these procedures, we need continually to develop and maintain the right attitude towards high quality achievement throughout the company and strive for continual improvement of our product and of the quality management system. Only in this way will we achieve our company quality policy of complete customer satisfaction.

LTH Electronics has been externally assessed and certified by British Standards as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, demonstrating our commitment to upholding and continually improving high standards of quality in respect of our products and services. LTH Electronics has successfully renewed the accreditation from Safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety.

Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme, which recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors. The company’s application for Safecontractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business. Client-organisations who sign up to the scheme can access the database, enabling them to vet potential contractors before they even set foot on site.

These clients agree that, as users of the scheme, they will engage only those who have received accreditation. LTH Electronics has been successful in renewing its Utilities Vendor Database Verify (UVDB) registration and qualification after passing the stringent audit. The UVDB supplier management service, which is operated by Achilles UK on behalf of all the major UK utility organisations, means LTH Electronics are pre-qualified to tender for contracts put out by any of the utility sector buying organisations that subscribe to the system.
